Souter Lighthouse canvas print was created by talented local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has painted this striking red and white hooped lighthouse, as the sun is setting which casts a relaxing haze of lilacs and purples over it.

About Souter Lighthouse
An iconic landmark in South Tyneside on the North East coast, Souter lighthouse
was opened in 1871. Standing proud over the rugged coastline, Souter Lighthouse was the first lighthouse in the world to be built to use alternating electric current; this was very advanced technology for its day.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
Canvases are available in various sizes. Each size can be chosen above on the website.
