The Circus, Bath framed ceramic tile has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.

Emily’s art framed ceramic tile offers a lively and colourful take on The Circus in Bath, beautifully capturing the elegance and charm of this iconic Georgian landmark. The sweeping curve of the grand terraced houses dominates the scene, their warm, honey-coloured stone and symmetrical windows showcasing the timeless beauty of 18th-century design.

The foreground bursts with joyful splashes of colour, as wildflowers in soft pinks, yellows, blues, and whites dance across the bottom of the painting. The sky is a brilliant blue, scattered with delicate dots of colour that adds a relaxing feel to one of Bath's most famous landmarks.

The Circus, Bath

The Circus in Bath is a magnificent circular row of Georgian townhouses, renowned for its grand architecture and elegant symmetry. Designed by John Wood the Elder and completed in 1768, The Circus is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian urban planning in England.

The impressive terrace is made up of three curved segments that form a perfect circle, enclosing a central green space often adorned with trees. Inspired by classical Roman architecture, the design features striking columns, decorative stonework, and intricate details that showcase the craftsmanship of the period.

The Circu s is not only a remarkable architectural achievement but also a much-loved landmark in the historic city of Bath, attracting visitors from all over the world who come to admire its beauty and graceful design.

Ceramic Framed Tile

Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.

The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.

Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
