St Paul's Cathedral Open Edition Print A4
St Paul's Cathedral Open Edition Print
St Paul's Cathedral open edition print has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely art print is also available framed.
Emily’s art print presents a vibrant and modern interpretation of St Paul’s Cathedral, blending its historic grandeur with a lively palette of colour. The cathedral’s iconic dome rises majestically at the centre, painted in tones of grey, white, and soft blue, standing in sharp contrast to the vivid background.
The sky glows in rich shades of pink and peach, speckled with splashes of yellow, purple, and white, giving the scene a dreamlike, almost celebratory atmosphere. In the foreground, a burst of colourful flowers fills the lower edge of the art print, with strokes of pink, purple, yellow, and green scattered playfully across the picture.
The combination of the cathedral’s architectural solidity with the energetic sky and lively flowers creates a striking contrast, presenting St Paul’s as both timeless and part of a vibrant, imaginative world.

St Paul's Cathedral
St Paul’s Cathedral, standing proudly in the heart of London, is one of the city’s most renowned landmarks and a triumph of English Baroque design. Created by Sir Christopher Wren and completed in 1710 following the devastation of the Great Fire of London, it is instantly recognised by its majestic dome, which dominates the skyline and ranks among the largest in the world
Inside, the cathedral is equally impressive, with its soaring nave, intricate mosaics, and the celebrated Whispering Gallery, where the acoustics allow the faintest sound to carry across the dome. Throughout its history, St Paul’s has hosted many important national occasions, from the state funerals of Admiral Lord Nelson and Sir Winston Churchill to the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer. A place of worship, it is also a lasting symbol of endurance, famously surviving the bombings of the Blitz in the Second World War.
