Seaburn ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from an original painting by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
Emily’s painting conveys the power and beauty of the North sea against the coastline of Seaburn. Emily’s lively sea spray contrasts with the peaceful beach and glowing sky on this art ceramic tile.
The sea dominates the foreground of the painting with foamy waves rolling towards the headland where the White Lighthouse stands proud. The sky has a beautiful atmospheric feel and is filled with soft blues, pinks and warm oranges.
The golden sands are peppered with the colours of a sunrise.

Seaburn
Seaburn is a seaside resort in the suburb of Sunderland located between Roker and Whitburn.
Seaburn is considered to be part of the “Roker Riviera” which is a stretch of coastline known for its beautiful beaches and coastline.
Seaburn beach
stretches for about 1.5km and is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere and family friendly environment. There is a promenade that runs alongside the beach.
The beach was awarded a Blue Flag status in 2024.
Ceramic Tile with Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
