Otter Estuary open edition print has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward from her art print and gift range from the South West.
Emily’s art print captures an almost enchanted landscape bathed in soft, luminous colour. The sky dominates the scene in gentle washes of violet, lavender, and pale mauve, layered with cloud-like brushstrokes and scattered flecks of light that shimmer like drifting mist or falling pollen.
Below, the estuary curves quietly through the landscape, its glassy surface reflecting the purples of the sky and the greens and golds of the land, creating a calm, mirror-like stillness.
Grassy banks and meadows glow in warm yellows, fresh greens, and hints of earthy orange, while a line of slender trees stands along the horizon.
In the foreground, delicate flowers and grasses are dotted with whites, pinks, and blues.
