Munros Framed Ceramic Tile
Munros Framed Ceramic Tile
Munros framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Emily’s framed ceramic tile shows the natural beauty of the Munros in Scotland using a wide range of colours. The foreground is filled with tall grasses and flowers in pink, yellow, blue and purple, while the middle ground stretches into open green fields.
The mountain dominates the centre of the picture with its grey rock faces and green slopes. The sky is a mix of blue, purple and pink, with scattered dots of colour that give the whole scene a lively and modern appearance.

Munros
The Munros are mountains in Scotland that are over 3,000 feet (914.4 metres) high. They are named after Sir Hugh Munro, who created the first official list of these mountains in 1891.
Today, there are 282 Munros spread across the Scottish Highlands. Many people enjoy climbing them because of the spectacular scenery, fresh air, and sense of achievement.
Completing every Munro, known as "Munro bagging," is a popular challenge for hikers from around the world.
