Ludlow Castle framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
A vibrant meadow of wildflowers bursts into life with an abundance of colour in the foreground of Ludlow Castle. Dainty flowers with tall, delicate stems rise up in shades of pink, purple, blue, white and yellow adding a burst of colour to Emily's wall art.
The fresh green grass is dotted with colourful flecks, leading the eye towards the castle and adding to the lively, joyful atmosphere.

Ludlow Castle
Ludlow Castle
is a medieval fortress in the historic market town of Ludlow in Shropshire. Construction began in the late 11th century, shortly after the Norman Conquest, and the castle was gradually enlarged and altered over several centuries.
Its prominent position overlooking the River Teme made it an important stronghold close to the Welsh border, and today its surviving towers, walls and medieval buildings reflect its long and varied history.
Today, the privately owned castle is open to visitors and remains one of Ludlow’s most recognisable historic landmarks.
Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
