This colourful cup of Ludlow Castle captures the historic ruins in warm shades of gold, amber and terracotta beneath a radiant sun and sweeping blue and yellow sky. Splashes of pink, blue and yellow add a pop of colour.
The foreground is filled with a vibrant meadow of wildflowers in shades of pink, purple, blue, white and yellow. Fresh green grass and tall delicate stems lead the eye towards the castle, creating a bright, cheerful and uplifting view of this beautiful historic landmark.

Ludlow Castle
Ludlow Castle
is a medieval fortress in the historic market town of Ludlow in Shropshire. Construction began in the late 11th century, shortly after the Norman Conquest, and the castle was gradually enlarged and altered over several centuries.
Its prominent position overlooking the River Teme made it an important stronghold close to the Welsh border, and today its surviving towers, walls and medieval buildings reflect its long and varied history.
Today, the privately owned castle is open to visitors and remains one of Ludlow’s most recognisable historic landmarks.
