Hillsborough Castle Postcard
Hillsborough Castle Postcard
Hillsborough Castle postcard is by North East artist Emily Ward from her art portfolio of Northern Ireland
The elegant Georgian castle stretches gracefully across Emily's postcard, the warm golden stonework stands out against a sky of swirling candy pink, soft peach and gentle touches of lavender. The sky is scattered with playful splashes of yellow, white and vibrant pink, adding a magical, dreamlike quality.
In the centre of the beautifully landscaped gardens, a sparkling fountain sends delicate sprays of water into a peaceful pool, surrounded by neatly trimmed hedges and lush green lawns.
The foreground is alive with a glorious abundance of wildflowers, with delicate white daisies, pretty pink and coral blossoms, splashes of sunshine yellow and rich purple flowers dancing amongst tall green grasses. Overhanging branches frame the scene, adding to the feeling of a peaceful summer's day.
Bursting with cheerful colours and delicate floral details, Emily's enchanting artwork captures the timeless beauty and charm of Hillsborough Castle and its magnificent gardens.
