Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede Postcard

Rope Bridge, Carrick-a-Rede postcard is by North East artist Emily Ward from her art portfolio of Northern Ireland

This colourful postcard beautifully captures the dramatic coastal setting of the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, stretching gracefully between the steep rocky cliffs.

The sparkling sea below is filled with gorgeous shades of turquoise, teal and rich ocean blue, with soft white waves bringing a sense of movement to the water. Overhead, a fresh blue sky and large, fluffy white clouds give Emily's art a bright and summery feel.

The surrounding cliffs are in warm earthy colours and lush greens, while the foreground is overflowing with delicate wildflowers in cheerful pinks, whites and yellows. Bright splashes of colour scattered across the landscape add a playful quality to this uplifting view of the Northern Irish coast.
