Dunluce Castle ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from original artwork by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
This striking ceramic tile captures Dunluce Castle standing dramatically on the rugged cliffs overlooking the sea.
The sky is washed with beautiful shades of blue, lilac and soft pink, creating a gentle glow that stretches across the horizon and reflects onto the water below. The surrounding cliffs are filled with layers of rich green, warm orange, purple and dusky pink, adding depth and warmth to the landscape.
In the foreground, colourful wildflowers and tall grasses sweep across the scene in vibrant shades of pink, yellow, purple, red and white. Delicate splashes of colour scattered throughout give Emily's artwork a lively, expressive feel, while the historic castle provides a wonderful contrast to the bright and colourful coastal landscape.

Dunluce Castle
Dunluce Castle is a spectacular medieval ruin perched dramatically on the edge of rugged cliffs along the Causeway Coast in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, close to the town of Portrush. Dating largely from the 16th and 17th centuries, the castle is surrounded by breathtaking coastal scenery, with steep rocky cliffs and the vast Atlantic Ocean stretching into the distance.
Once home to the powerful MacDonnell clan, its weathered stone walls, towers and ruins create a wonderful sense of history and mystery. With crashing waves below and sweeping views across the sea, Dunluce Castle
is one of Northern Ireland’s most dramatic and instantly recognisable historic landmarks.
