Druridge Bay Postcard
Druridge Bay Postcard
Druridge Bay postcard is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art postcards. This postcard has been created from an original painting by Emily.
Emily’s art postcard captures the wild, natural beauty of Druridge Bay in Northumberland. The sandy beach sweeps gently along the coastline, painted in warm golden hues, with lively splashes of pink and yellow adding texture and movement. The sea is rich with deep blues and purples, with flecks of white representing the foam of waves as they break onto the shore.
In the foreground, colourful wild grasses and flowers grow along the edge of a weathered wooden or stone breakwater, their pink, yellow, and white blooms bringing a cheerful burst of colour to the scene. The sky above is filled with soft, moody shades of blue, grey, and hints of pink, suggesting a breezy, changeable day typical of this exposed stretch of coast.
