Druridge Bay framed ceramic tile has been designed from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Emily’s framed ceramic tile captures the wild, natural beauty of Druridge Bay in Northumberland. The sandy beach sweeps gently along the coastline, painted in warm golden hues, with lively splashes of pink and yellow adding texture and movement. The sea is rich with deep blues and purples, with flecks of white representing the foam of waves as they break onto the shore.
In the foreground, colourful wild grasses and flowers grow along the edge of a weathered wooden or stone breakwater, their pink, yellow, and white blooms bringing a cheerful burst of colour to the scene. The sky above is filled with soft, moody shades of blue, grey, and hints of pink, suggesting a breezy, changeable day typical of this exposed stretch of coast.

Druridge Bay

Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
