Corbridge Bridge Keyring
Corbridge Bridge Keyring
Corbridge Bridge keyring has been created from original art by Emily Ward an artist from the North East. This art keyring has been hand pressed locally in Emily's art studio.
Emily’s vibrant art keyring captures this peaceful riverside scene bursting with colour and light. In the foreground, a lively meadow of tall, delicate flowers stretches upwards, painted in joyful shades of pink, purple, blue, and soft white.
Dots and splashes of pastel yellows, pinks, and blues dance across the art gift like drifting petals or sparkling confetti. The river reflects gentle blues and soft browns, mirroring the warm tones of the stone bridge that arches gracefully across the water.
Corbridge bridge itself is rich in golden and honeyed shades, glowing warmly in the sunlight and standing in contrast to the cool blues of the sky above.

Corbridge Bridge
Corbridge Bridge remains one of the most recognisable historic structures in Corbridge, Northumberland, standing as a testament to the town’s long-standing role as a crossing point over the River Tyne. Built in 1674 after earlier bridges were swept away by severe floods.
The stone structure was carefully engineered to withstand the river’s powerful currents. Its sturdy arches and triangular cutwaters were designed to deflect water and debris, improving its durability. The bridge was later widened in the 19th century to meet growing transport needs, blending its original 17th-century character with practical Victorian improvements.
Today, it continues to carry traffic while also serving as a historic focal point within a conservation area rich in Roman and medieval heritage.
