Castle Street, Anster
Located south of St Andrews, Anstruther
is the largest in a string of pretty, old-fashioned fishing villages along the stretch of Fife coast known as the East Neuk.
Castle Street is on the picturesque waterfront overlooking the pretty bay. At the far end of the bay is Wester Church which is now a school hall. The church was originally built in 1243 and was extended in 1845.
