Aira Force Waterfall square open edition print has been produced from original art by local North East artist Emily Ward. All of Emily's art prints are also available framed.
This art print of Aira Force Waterfall portrays the Lake District’s much loved cascade in a lively and atmospheric style. The water plunges between rugged, moss covered rocks, its white spray captured with a sense of energy as it splashes into the pool below.
The surrounding woodland is rich with greenery, painted in layered shades of deep and bright green, with flecks of yellow and pink adding light and vibrancy. At the top of the falls, a graceful stone bridge arches across, partly concealed by trees.
Speckles of colour drift across the art print, echoing the spray of the water and tying together the cascade, foliage, and sky.

Aira Force Waterfall
Aira Force Waterfall is one of the most celebrated natural landmarks in the Lake District, located near Ullswater in Cumbria. Hidden within ancient woodland, the waterfall plunges dramatically for around 65 feet (20 meters) into a rocky gorge, its rushing waters creating a constant roar that echoes through the trees.
The surrounding landscape is rich with ferns, mosses, and towering evergreens, adding to the sense of enchantment and tranquillity. Stone bridges cross the stream above and below the falls, offering perfect viewpoints to admire the cascade.
Aira Force
has long been a place of inspiration, even featuring in the poetry of William Wordsworth, and today it remains a must visit beauty spot in the Lake District.
