Millennium Bridge Ceramic tile with easel has been wonderfully created by local North East artist Emily Ward. Emily has captured this landmark bridge on the River Tyne setting it to a backdrop of vibrant colours.
The richness of the purple, blue and pink flowers in the forefront of the bridge give a different perspective to this lovely painting. Colourful flowers reach up above the Millennium Bridge towards the relaxing blue hues of the skyline.
About Millennium Bridge
Gateshead Millennium Bridge
situated on the arts quarter of Gateshead Quays and the Quayside of Newcastle upon Tyne is the world’s first and only titling bridge. The bridge first tilted in 2001.
Residents from Gateshead in 1996 voted on their favourite design from 150 entries from leading architectural companies to build a new bridge. The winning design by Wilkinson Eyre Architects takes its place proudly standing alongside the many distinguished bridges spanning the River Tyne.

Ceramic Tile With Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
