North East of England Paintings by Emily Ward

Emily Ward has painted numerous paintings of the North East of England. Hundreds of customers from all around the world have commissioned these paintings. The North East paintings are bright, vibrant and unique. It is very clear which iconic North East scene Emily is painting but she adds a contemporary twist. The contemporary twist is created by adding splashes of colour over the North East painting.  Emily often uses the splashes to represent the rough sea along the North East coast.

Bamburgh castle, Alnwick castle, Dunstanburgh Castle and Tynemouth Priory are just a few. All of these castles are located next to the North East Sea. Emily captures their location by adding splashes of paint to represent the rough sea.

North East Bridges and Buildings Paintings

Emily also creates paintings of iconic North East landmarks in the centre of Newcastle Upon Tyne. Newcastle is the nearest city to Emily’s studio and she frequently visits the bridges. Emily has produced a collection of paintings based on the centre of Newcastle. These are the Tynebridge, Millennium Bridge, The Baltic Center for Contemporary Art and the Sage. This particular collection of North East paintings are extremely bright. Emily has placed the iconic landscape in a bright and beautiful flower scene. The colours of the flowers  complement the colours of the buildings and bridges.
