Emily Ward Art has a wide range of gifts from the North East. The range is based on many iconic North East landmarks. The North East gift range was originally created from commissioned paintings. 

How Gifts from the North East started.

When Emily first started Emily Ward Art her business was based solely on commissions. The commissions were often ordered from customers who lived along the North East coast. Or customers who had once lived in the North East and had moved abroad or to another part of the country.

Emily herself is based in the North East of England and attracted customers through local fairs and events. In fact her first big customer was a nurse from the Oncology department at North Tyneside General Hospital.

After years of painting commissions Emily decided to try and make a gift range from her North East paintings. She seeked professional business advice from The Business factory based in North Shields. https://businessfactorynt.co.uk/ 

The Business Factory allocated her a business adviser. After hours of very helpful meetings Emily created a small range of gifts based on her paintings of the North East of England. 

What is a gift from the North East by Emily Ward Art?

The gifts from the North East started with ceramic tiles. Emily’s iconic North East paintings were hand printed onto tiles. The gloss on the tile added an extra very attractive shine. Emily decided to paint on top of the tiles to make them just a little bit different from a print. Emily decided to sell the tiles in two different sizes.

North East Framed Tiles
