What information is being collected, and how ?

Emily Ward Art uses Google Analytics to show when and how many visitors visit the website. This helps me to determine which content is relevant to my customers, and to ensure we can make the site as user friendly as possible.

All purchases made via Emily Ward Art online shop are paid for either by the payment gateways PAYPAL or STRIPE. When you make a purchase, Emily Ward Art receives your Name, contact information including email address, address and phone number. I receive this information via the business email info@emilywardart.com so that we can process your order. We do not receive payment details such as bank debit/credit card numbers or bank account details. This information is stored subject to the payment process and is hidden from our view.

On the few occasions when payment is taken via telephone, your financial information is held securely for 24 hours then securely destroyed.
Emily Ward Art may collect your information at fairs and trade shows such as Living North, Wynyard Hall Christmas Fair with regards to orders and commission enquiries. If this is the case you will be asked to complete an order form with your contact details and email address on. If you choose to be added to the newsletter then your information will be transferred to our email provider MAILCHIMP. If you opt out to email marketing then the information will purely be used to process your order.
