About the Tyne Bridge
The Tyne Bridge is an arch bridge which links Newcastle upon Tyne and Gateshead, over the River Tyne. It was officially opened in October 1928 by King George V and ever since has become a defining symbol of Tyneside.
There has been many adaptations of the Tyne Bridge over the years with special occasions and events. In 2012, the largest Olympic rings in the UK were erected on the bridge in preparation for the Olympic torch relay and Newcastle hosting the Olympic football tournament. Also in 2015, when Newcastle was a host city for the Rugby World Cup, a large illuminated sign was put up.

The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
