The Bowes Museum ceramic tile and easel is by Emily Ward, an artist from the North East. This art gift is produced locally in her studio near Newcastle. It has been designed from original art by Emily from her range of art from County Durham.
The colourful flowers really burst with colour with the glaze on this art ceramic tile and easel gift. The pinks and purple colours of the wildflowers can be seen gently floating through the clouds.

The Bowes Museum
The Bowes Museum
is in the picturesque market town of Barnard Castle, County Durham in the heart of the Pennines in North East England.
Designed to house the art collection of John Bowes and his wife Josephine Benoite Coffin-Cheyallier, a former actress with a love of the arts. French architect Jules Pellechet and John Edward Watson from Newcastle designed the building, which opened to the public in 1892.
The building is richly modelled, with large windows, engaged columns, projecting bays, and mansard roofs typical of the French architecture set within beautifully landscaped gardens.
There is a wealth of some of the UK’s best examples of European fine and decorative arts housed here. There are galleries spread across three floors dedicated to paintings, furniture, fashion and textiles, ceramics, silver and metals, sculpture and more.
Ceramic Tile With Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
