The Alnwick Garden Grand Cascade Postcard
The Alnwick Garden Grand Cascade Postcard
The Alnwick Garden Grand Cascade postcard is from an original painting by Emily Ward, a North East artist.
Gentle tones ripple through the water, as jets of water cascade down. Calming tones of purple colour the sky, which can be seen peeping through the deep greens of the shrubs.

The Grand Cascade at The Alnwick Garden
The Alnwick Garden in Northumberland opened to the public in 2001. The Grand Cascade was built on desolate and damaged landscape, which had been left to deteriorate for 40 years.
The site was transformed, designed by Belgian designer Jacques Wirtz.
A colossal 250,000 gallons of water circulate the cascade, with 120 jets of going off every half hour.
