Seaham Lighthouse coaster by local artist Emily Ward from Newcastle, has been hand pressed onto a FSC rated hardbacked coaster. The coaster has been produced from an original painting by Emily.
Sea spray mixed with Emily's characteristic splashes of paint shower down over the black and white lighthouse in Seaham. You can imagine the waves from the North Sea crashing up against and over the pier wall.

Seaham
is a harbour town on Durham's Heritage Coast, it offers spectacular views from it's dramatic clifftop location down to the harbour and the sandy beach.
Seaham Harbour is protected by two outer piers, the North Pier and South Pier, which were built in phases between 1899 and 1906. The black and white lighthouse at the end of the north pier was constructed in 1905.
