Greenwich Observatory ceramic tile with easel is by North East artist Emily Ward. The ceramic tile has been created from original artwork by Emily and is hand pressed locally in her art studio.
This ceramic tile of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich captures the landmark in a vivid and uplifting palette. The building’s red-brick exterior glows against a dazzling pink and purple sky, where soft clouds seem to swirl with movement and light.

The Royal Observatory
The Royal Observatory in Greenwich is one of London’s most significant historic landmarks, renowned as the home of Greenwich Mean Time and the Prime Meridian Line. Founded in 1675 by King Charles II, it was established to improve navigation and mapmaking through the study of astronomy.

Ceramic Tile with Easel
Each ceramic tile is made from an original painting by North East Artist Emily Ward.
Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
Ceramic Tile including the wooden easel is 15cm high x 10cm wide.
