Rising Sun
Sunlight travels through more of the atmosphere when the sun is low on the horizon during sunrises and sunsets. The shorter wavelength colours of blues and violets are scattered out. This leaves the longer wavelength colours such as yellow, orange and reds to fill the sky during a sunrise.
