Puffin Dancing with the Daisies coaster has been produced from an original painting by North East artist Emily Ward. This FSC rated hardback coaster has a glossed finish and is hand pressed locally.
Emily's Northumberland puffin is full of character, a striking plumage and a bright orange and yellow beak.
The puffin seems to be having lots of fun dancing cheerfully with the daisies. Perhaps he is getting ready for flight into an evening sky rich in colour of gentle purples.

Puffins
The popular puffin has beautiful markings, a striking coloured bill and is often referred to as a sea parrot. Male and females almost look identical, with the male being slightly larger.
The Farne Islands
are a very important wildlife reserve and are home to many species of bird including Puffin, Eider, Razorbill, Guillemot and Kittiwake. A large colony of grey seals also breed here in the autumn and winter months.
