Perth Bridge
is a prominent landmark in Perth that spans the River Tay. It is an old school arched bridge, with nine arches made from Perth sandstone.
The bridge is referred to as Smeaton's Bridge after the engineer John Smeaton who was responsible and designed the bridge. The 270metre bridge was completed in 1771.
