The warm stonework contrasts beautifully with the clear blue sky, while touches of pink, yellow and white add texture to the scene.
In the foreground, a meadow of tall flowers creates a striking display of cerise pink, lavender, violet and cornflower blue, mixed with delicate white blooms and rich green stems. The flowers lead the eye naturally towards the cathedral and its distinctive soaring spire.
