Norwich Castle framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.
Bathed in radiant light, Norwich Castle rises majestically above a sea of colourful summer flowers, its historic stone walls glowing in warm shades of honey, cream and gold. Above, a dramatic sky painted with lavender, soft blue and hints of purple provides a stunning backdrop, while playful splashes of paint add a pop of colour to this framed ceramic tile.
The foreground is filled with an abundance of wildflowers, where delicate white daisies, vibrant pink blooms and touches of yellow and green create a rich tapestry of colour.

Norwich Castle
Dominating the skyline of Norwich for almost a thousand years, Norwich Castle
is one of the finest surviving Norman fortresses in England. Commissioned by William the Conqueror around 1067, the impressive keep was originally built as a symbol of royal power and remains one of the city's most recognisable landmarks.
Over the centuries, the castle has served many purposes, from a medieval stronghold and royal residence to a county prison, before becoming the museum and art gallery it is today.

Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
Frames are available in White and Black Frames.
