A peaceful view of the New Forest is captured in gentle, harmonious tones, where the narrow, pale path curves through low stretches of flowering heather. The ground is covered in soft clusters of pink, mauve, and violet, with touches of warm ochre and green on Emily’s art limited edition print.
The sky above is softly layered with blush, apricot, and faint gold, the colours blending seamlessly as the light settles across the landscape. A single tree stands slightly off centre, its form simple and steady against the glowing backdrop, while a distant line of woodland appears in deeper, cooler tones, adding quiet contrast.

New Forest
New Forest National Park covers over 200 square miles of heathland, forest, and coastline, making it one of the largest remaining areas of unenclosed pastureland in southern England. Designated a national park in 2005, it is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including deer, rare birds, and diverse plant species that thrive in its ancient habitats.
The New Forest’s
long-standing system of commoning still allows local residents to graze animals across the open land. Its well-known ponies roam freely throughout the park, playing an important role in maintaining the landscape by grazing the vegetation and preserving the delicate balance of the ecosystem.
