Moot Hall - Keswick Pendant Decoration
Moot Hall - Keswick Hanging Pendant Decoration
Moot Hall ceramic pendant has been created from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily’s art ceramic pendant of Moot Hall is a bright and joyful depiction that captures the heart of Keswick with warmth and charm. The hall stands proudly in the centre, its stone walls painted in earthy tones of brown and gold, highlighted by deep blue doors and windows.
Surrounding it, the Market Square buildings glow in soft pastel shades of peach, cream, pink, and blue, giving the scene a welcoming vibrancy. The sky above is a stunning gradient of golden yellow fading into gentle blues and purples, with a radiant sun casting a warm halo of light over the entire scene.
In the foreground, a field of colourful flowers bursts into view with a lively mix of pinks, purples, yellows, and whites.
The combination of glowing colours, playful brushwork, and sunlight creates a cheerful, uplifting atmosphere that beautifully reflects the spirit of Keswick and its iconic Moot Hall.

Moot Hall, Keswick
Moot Hall in Keswick is one of the town’s most distinctive and historic landmarks, standing proudly in the centre of the Market Square. The current building dates back to the early 19th century, though earlier versions of the hall have occupied the same site since the 1500s.
Built from local slate with a striking clock tower rising above its gabled roof, Moot Hall has long served as the heart of Keswick’s civic and community life. Over the centuries, it has been used as a courthouse, a market hall, and even a meeting place for local officials.
Today, it houses the Keswick Tourist Information Centre and serves as a welcoming focal point for visitors exploring the town and the surrounding Lake District. With its traditional architecture and rich heritage, Moot Hall stands as a proud symbol of Keswick’s history and enduring charm.
