Maryport art greeting card has been designed from original art by North East artist Emily Ward.
Sea spray splashes up and over the south pier and the Grade II listed lighthouse creating a feeling of a wintery day.Hints of rust can be seen on the cast iron lighthouse in Emily's art.

Maryport
is a pretty harbour town with lovely views along the Solway Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated near to the Lake District, with Keswick being just over 20 miles away.
Maryport was originally the creation of the Senhouse family back in the 18th century, they developed the small fishing village into a coal port. Maryport was the sit of a former Roman port.
With the construction of the new dock in 1833, a new pier and lighthouse were built. The lighthouse was established in 1846 and it is reported to be the oldest cast-iron lighthouse in the UK and is a Grade II listed building.
