lies on the banks of the River Dee in the county of Denbighshire. The picturesque town of Llangollen is situated in the heart of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal world heritage site.
It is overlooked by the beautiful remains of Castell Dinas Bran. Both the River Dee and the Llangollen canal run through it, making it a popular destination with canoeists and kayakers.
