LLangollen
is situated on the River Dee in Denbighshire in North East Wales. As with many ancient Welsh towns, the name is taken from it's founding Saint. Saint Collen was a seventh-century saint.
Llangollen, was established in the 7th Century when The monk St. Collen was instructed to find a valley by riding a horse for one day to find a suitable area to establish a parish.
The riverside location is on the edge of the Berwyn mountains and Dee Valley section of the Clwdian Range. Dee Valley is an area of outstanding natural beauty.
