Highland Cows framed ceramic tile has been designed from original artwork by North East artist Emily Ward. All ceramic tiles are printed and hand pressed in Emily's art studio, where she hand finishes every tile.

Highland Cows
Highland cows, fondly known as “Hairy Coos,” are among Scotland’s most distinctive and charming animals. With their long, shaggy coats and majestic curved horns, they are perfectly suited to the wild and windswept landscapes of the Scottish Highlands. Their thick fur provides warmth and protection through the cold, wet seasons, while their gentle, curious nature has made them favourites with both locals and visitors.

Ceramic Framed Tile
Each Framed Tile is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your ceramic framed tile is actually a print, no two tiles are identical. Emily hand finishes the tiles by adding extra paint to the ceramic tile.
The framed tile appears as if it is floating inside the frame.
