Hexham Abbey coaster by North East artist Emily Ward has been hand pressed locally onto a FSC rated hardbacked coaster. The coaster has been produced from original artwork.
Emily has added a splash of colour to the early English Gothic architecture of Hexham Abbey. A host of bright and cheerful flowers lights up this art coaster as the grow in abundance in front of the ancient building.
Sunlight reflects across the abbey giving it a golden glow.
The ancient monostatic abbey walls rise high above a blanket of rich pink, yellow and purple flowers.

Hexham Abbey
Hexham Abbey is in the beautiful county of Northumberland. The Priory of St Andrews'
was registered as a listed building in 1951.
This former medieval abbey was originally built late in the 7th century. The Abbey was again built up in the 12th century and has had recent additions added to the site in the 20th century.
It is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Northumberland, welcoming over 120,000 visitors a year.
