Hexham Abbey
Hexham Abbey is in the beautiful county of Northumberland. The Priory of St Andrews' is a Grade 1
listed building that was registered as such in 1951.
This former medieval abbey was originally built late in the 7th century. The Abbey was again built up in the 12th century and has had recent additions added to the site in the 20th century.
It is one of the most prominent tourist attractions in Northumberland, welcoming over 120,000 visitors a year.
