Hampton Court Palace Postcard
Hampton Court Palace Postcard
Hampton Court Palace postcard is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art postcards. This postcard has been created from original artwork by Emily.
This art postcard presents Hampton Court Palace in a vibrant and imaginative style, blending history with whimsy. The grand red-brick facade of the palace, with its tall towers and central archway, stands boldly against a dreamy pink sky that gives the scene a surreal glow.
In the foreground, a lively field of flowers bursts with colour, painted in splashes of yellow, pink, purple, and blue, creating a sense of joyful abundance. Flecks of bright paint scatter across the entire art print, uniting sky, palace, and garden in a playful haze.
The result is a fantastical reimagining of the iconic Tudor landmark, where the familiar architecture feels both magical and modern.

Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace, situated beside the River Thames in Richmond upon Thames, is one of England’s most celebrated royal residences, renowned for its rich history and striking architecture. Built in the early 1500s for Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, it later became a favourite retreat of King Henry VIII, who expanded and embellished it to suit the grandeur of his court.
The palace showcases a remarkable mix of Tudor opulence and Baroque elegance, reflecting the tastes of successive monarchs, including William III and Mary II. Its vast grounds feature formal gardens, the world-famous hedge maze, and historic parkland that has changed little over the centuries. Today, Hampton Court Palace offers visitors an immersive journey into royal life, from the splendour of its state apartments to the atmosphere of its bustling Tudor kitchens
