Emily's speckles of colour light up these monastic abbey ruins in Yorkshire. An array of brightly coloured flowers grow wildly in front of these famous abbey ruins.
A warming glow is cast over the stonework of Fountains abbey from Emily's meadow filled with yellow tones. Subtle tones of purples and lilac fill the evening sky.

Fountains Abbey
and Studley Royal Park have been an UNESCO World Heritage site since 1986. The impressive site includes the ruins of the largest Cistercian monastery in the United Kingdom, a splendid Georgian formal water garden, and a medieval deer park. Fountains Abbey is situated near the town of Ripon in the Yorkshire Dales.
The name 'Fountains Abbey' comes from the large number of natural springs in the area. The monks were never short of water. The abbey ruins are now part of the elegant 18th-century water garden at Studley Royal park, water still continues to play an important part in the story of Fountains
