Butterflies
The Purple Emperor
is a beautiful yet elusive woodland insect found predominantly in the south of the country. The purple emperor is the second largest butterfly in the UK, the swallowtail is larger. The males has an iridescent purple sheen on their upper wings, the female is brown.
They have a wingspan of 7.5cm - 8.4cm.

Each tile comes with it’s own wooden easel so your tile is easy to display.
There is a cork backing on each tile and each tile is individually wrapped in a cellophane bag.
All ceramic tiles are individually printed so there may be a slight variation in colour tones.
