The Glasshouse International Centre for Music Canvas print was created initially by North East artist Emily Ward for The Glasshouse to sell as a greeting card in their gift shop. It has since been transferred to many of Emily’s vast selection of products.
Emily has painted a beautiful bouquet of colourful flowers that nestle in front of this unusual shaped building. The pinks, purples and blues really add a delicate touch to this dramatic curved steel auditorium .
The warming orange sky gives this canvas an uplifting feeling.

The Glasshouse International Centre for Music
is a music and culture centre which stages a variety of art programmes. It is home to Northern Sinfonia and many jazz, blues and folk performances are also performed here.
The Glasshouse opened in 2004 on Gateshead Quayside on the River Tyne accessible from Newcastle via one of the many bridges. The Glasshouse was part of an ambitious project to regenerate the riverfront. The curving shape of The Glasshouse is a good talking point.

Each Canvas Print is hand finished by North East Artist Emily Ward. So although your canvas is actually a print no two prints are identical. Emily hand finishes the canvas prints by adding extra paint to the print.

The canvas is mounted on a wooden frame. The wooden frame is approximately 2cm deep so will fit snugly against any wall.
Canvases are available in various sizes. Each size can be chosen above on the website.
All inks used for each canvas print are guaranteed not to fade.
