Emily's creation depicts this impressive Greek temple which stands proud on top of Penshaw Hill, in the City of Sunderland.
Emily's warm use of pinks, purples and soft blues make a striking backdrop for this ancient Greek Temple in the North East of England.
Soft flowers and deeper splashes of colours such as turquoise and purple add a soft dreamy image to this lovely canvas painting.
About Penshaw Monument
A grade I listed building also known as Earl of Durham’s Monument was built in 1844 to commemorate John Lambton the 1st Earl of Durham. Designed to look like The temple of Hephaestus, in Athens.
