Castle stands 150 feet above sea level. Looking out over the sweeping Northumberland Coast and the pretty village of Bamburgh.
England’s finest coastal castle, it has over 1,400 years of history. Periods as a Norman stronghold, a crown residence and a former Royal Palace are all part of Bamburgh Castle’s rich past.
