Eden Project
The Eden Project, located in Cornwall, is one of the UK’s most remarkable attractions, bringing together nature, science, and sustainability in a unique and inspiring way. Built within a former clay pit, this impressive site is home to two vast geodesic domes, known as biomes. These house thousands of plant species from around the world.
One biome replicates the hot, humid conditions of a tropical rainforest, while the other captures the landscapes of the Mediterranean.
Since opening in 2001, the Eden Project has become a global symbol of environmental awareness, promoting education, biodiversity, and sustainable living. Alongside its iconic architecture and lush gardens, the Eden Project offers visitors a chance to explore the beauty and importance of the natural world, encouraging everyone to think about their impact on the planet.
