North East Gifts - Dunstanburgh Castle Print

Dunstanburgh Castle print has been created by local North East Artist Emily Ward.

This painting shows the castle ruin standing proud, guarding the sea battered Northumberland coastline.

The light blues of the sky, mixed with the dark blue North Sea and the white sea spray show off the appeal of this romantic ruin to its fullest. Hints of the golden beach and rich green grass verge add warmth to this dramatic castle painting.

About Dunstanburgh Castle

Dunstanburgh Castle is located near Craster, on a remote outcrop along the North Sea. The castle, constructed in the 14th century, was once one of the largest castles in Northern England.

The castle ruins and gatehouse accessible only on foot provide impressive views of Dunstanburgh Castle set against the shoreline.

Now one of the most photographed ruins in the country it is easy to see why you would be drawn to this beautiful hand finished castle painting onto a print.
