Dover Castle stands majestically above a vibrant hillside, its impressive stone walls and towers rising proudly beneath a peaceful summer sky. Soft shades of blue, lavender and gentle pink blend across the clouds, creating a calm backdrop that beautifully complements the historic fortress.

The foreground is transformed into a meadow of wildflowers, where countless blooms in rich purples, delicate pinks, creamy whites and touches of golden yellow stretch towards the castle on Emily’s art bone china cup.

Dover Castle

Perched high on the famous White Cliffs of Dover, Dover Castle is one of Britain's most spectacular and historically significant fortresses. Founded in the 12th century by King Henry II, the castle has guarded England's coastline for over 900 years, earning its reputation as the "Key to England."

Its mighty stone keep, medieval tunnels and formidable defensive walls have played a vital role throughout history, from medieval battles to the Napoleonic Wars and the Second World War, when its secret tunnels were used during the evacuation of Dunkirk.

Today, visitors can explore its fascinating history while enjoying breathtaking views across the English Channel, making Dover Castle one of Kent's most iconic and inspiring landmarks.
