Clifton Suspension Bridge Hanging Pendant Decoration
Clifton Suspension bridge ceramic pendant has been created from original art by North East artist Emily Ward. This lovely hanging decoration has been hand pressed locally in her studio near Newcastle.
Emily can handwrite your message on the reverse of the pendant, just add your message to the order.
Emily’s art ceramic pendant presents a vibrant interpretation of the Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol. The bridge’s iconic towers and elegant suspension cables are rendered in warm tones of orange and gold, standing out beautifully against a dreamy, lavender-hued sky streaked with soft brushstrokes.
The bridge stretches gracefully across the Avon Gorge, surrounded by a lush, tree-covered landscape that glows with hints of pink, orange, and green.

Clifton Suspension Bridge
The Clifton Suspension Bridge
is one of Bristol’s most iconic landmarks, spanning the Avon Gorge and linking Clifton with Leigh Woods. Designed by the renowned engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the bridge was completed in 1864, five years after his death, and stands as a remarkable feat of Victorian engineering.
The Grade I bridge with its elegant iron chains and striking towers stretches 702 feet across the gorge, offering breathtaking views of the River Avon and the surrounding landscape. It has become a symbol of the city, admired not only for its historic and architectural significance but also for its enduring beauty.
Today, the Clifton Suspension Bridge remains a vital crossing and a popular destination for visitors, showcasing both Bristol’s rich industrial heritage.
