Buckingham Palace Postcard

Buckingham Palace postcard is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art postcards. This postcard has been created from original artwork by Emily.

Emily’s art postcard of Buckingham Palace presents the famous building in a colourful and enchanting style. The elegant façade, with its soft stone tones, is set against a radiant sky of pinks and oranges that glow with warmth and vibrancy.

In the foreground, a carpet of flowers stretches outward, brought to life with playful bursts of yellow, purple, blue, and pink that create movement and joy.

Speckles of colour scatter across the art print blending sky, garden, and architecture into one harmonious composition. The result is a lively and uplifting vision of this iconic landmark.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is the official London residence and administrative headquarters of the British monarch, and one of the most recognisable landmarks in the United Kingdom. Originally built in 1703 as a townhouse for the Duke of Buckingham, it was enlarged in the 19th century and became the royal family’s principal home under Queen Victoria in 1837.

The palace boasts 775 rooms, including state rooms used for official ceremonies and receptions, and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. It is also the focal point for national celebrations and events, such as the Changing of the Guard and royal jubilees. Today, Buckingham Palace remains both a working royal residence and a symbol of the monarchy, attracting millions of visitors who gather outside its gates each year.
