Broads National Park Postcard

Broads National Park Postcard is from North East artist Emily Ward's beautiful range of art postcards. This postcard has been created from original artwork by Emily.

Emily’s cheerful art postcard showcases the timeless landscape of the Broads National Park beneath a magnificent summer sky. A glowing golden sun radiates across soft washes of lemon yellow and pale blue, creating an atmosphere of warmth and serenity.

The peaceful river gently winds its way through the countryside, its shimmering surface mirroring the fresh greens of the surrounding reeds and grasses. Bursting with vibrant pink, lilac and yellow wildflowers, the foreground is alive with colour.

The traditional windmill, standing gracefully beside the water, is an enduring symbol of the Norfolk Broads and adds both history and character to this idyllic waterside setting.

Broads National Park

The landscape of the Broads National Park is made up of wide rivers, open broads, reed beds, marshes, woodlands and grassy meadows.

The broads covers an area 125 miles in Norfolk and Suffolk. There are seven rivers, and over 60 broads which range in size.

The flat countryside creates long views across the water, where boats, windmills and wildlife are common sights.

The area is home to many birds, fish and rare plants, making it an important place for nature. Visitors enjoy exploring the Broads by boat, walking along riverside paths or simply taking in the quiet and colourful landscape.
